Roger Saul back in the fashion game

The original founder of Mulberry way back in 1971, Roger Saul, has returned to the world of fashion after being forced out of the label in 2002. He has opened this weekend in Somerset a designer shopping emporium trying to create what he hopes will be a completely new experience in retail.

Saul says the main selling point is the way that the emporium is set in its environment. There is a wonderful garden and there will have pop-up restaurants and each shop in its own way is brilliant.

The Wellness Centre will give you a place to relax. All this will combine where the shoppers will receive a high quality experience while being treated very well, like shopping in a designer house shop but with a secret bargain as well.

Kilver Court the historic site will have stores like Mulberry, Peddlers, Myla, Isabella Oliver, Margaret Howell and MiH Jeans with each having up to 30% discounts. This weekend the outlet celebrated by having a designer sale and another is planned in November.

There are also plans for a twenty room hotel and he thinks of it as a form of regeneration since both Dorset and Somerset have very little if any designer shopping. With a number of private schools and many people that commute from London it makes for a large AB1 population.
