It feels like celebrity fashion labels are a dime a dozen with even B list stars able to put their print onto something within the fashion industry from t-shirts to mediocre bags. But who would have thought you would ever see the words Snob and Liam Gallagher in the same headline.
But it is true that latest celeb to get in on the act is the controversial front man from Oasis. Reports have been swirling that the singer has been shopping around New York to promote his new label Pretty Green, which made its official debut in the United States last April.
However, Gallagher claims that he is not looking for a large audience because he does not want see “anyone” wearing it, but instead only those he approves of.
In particular Gallagher would prefer that only those of his status wear his label such as football players and English musicians. In other words: only those who are also famous.
Most of the Gallagher collection is made up of basics from gingham shirts to smart parkas, but for $90 per cotton logo tee you would think that he would be shopping for any customer willing to shell out that much.
