It is not enough to just be a rock star anymore, as almost every rock star and pop star branches out into other ventures. Thus it should come as no surprise that lead singer for Maroon 5, Adam Levine, has decided to pursue a fashion line.
Levine will launch his new line called 222 in Las Vegas at the end of this week. He is not the first to consider fashion as a side career, as many others have done the same before him including P Diddy, Justin Timberlake, Jay-Z, and Madonna have as well.
Levine already established his fashion sense as he rose to fame dressed in Yves Saint Laurent suits and plenty of other designer labels. Given this fact, it may be surprising to learn that his first fashion collection is going to be on the simple side offering up leather jackets, t-shirts, and jeans.
He also plans to release a women’s line that offers knitted tops, silk dresses, and wraps.
The price tags range in price from $30 for a t-shirt and up to a whopping $1,250 for the biker jacket made out of leather.
The collection offers women 50 choices and men 25 choices.
Levine commented that he is very fashion passionate and that he believes that the clothes you choose to wear say a lot about you as a person.
He also has a unique background as his father opened a chain of boutique stores in LA titled M Frederic thirty years ago.
