Women still love Jennifer Anistons Friends hairstyle

The Rachel Green haircut worn by Jennifer Aniston on ‘Friends’ is still one of the most requested hairstyles of all time, with around 11m women reported to have sported the look themselves.

The cut is referred to as the shag among hair stylists and is layered and bouncy.  It was first created by Chris McMIllan and worn by Aniston on Friends back in 1994.

London celebrity hairdresser Mark Woolley, stated that beauty editors lately have been asking for the cut, showing that even after 15 years women still love it given the fact that it flatters almost every face.

After the ‘Rachel’ look, the second most popular celebrity hair style is Meg Ryan’s signature choppy bob seen in the 2003 blockbuster ‘Sleepless in Seattle.’

Coming in third place is Dannii Minogue’s sleek brunette bob seen on the ‘X Factor’ and is actually quite a bit more popular than her pop star sister Kylie’s look which is the poodle perm.

Rose Marie Jarvis from the Goody hair company stated that it is a well known fact that women take their hairstyle cues from celebrities because to them hair is the most creative and fun type of fashion accessory.

The poll showed additionally that women of ages loved Princess Diana’s short cut and the posh bob cut of Victoria Beckham.  Also popular was the honey blond flip of Farrah Fawcett in ‘Charlie’s Angels.’

Hair stylists confirmed that most women come in for a trim with a magazine picture of a celeb haircut they would like.
