£5,000 Caprice dress up for auction

A dress is up for grabs at a celebrity fashion auction that was worn by supermodel Caprice and valued at £5,000. In Jesmond, Newcastle at As You Like It, the Fashion Front Row is taking place as part of Fashion Week, the city’s first.

Scott Henshall the fashion designer has donated the silver embroidered and black leather corset dress which model and IT girl Caprice wore to the Brit Awards this year in February. The official T-shirts for the Newcastle Fashion Week have been designed by Scott Hensall celebrity fashion designer and a custom piece that is emblazoned with Geordie Girl was created and is up for the hammer.

Tuesday evening will also include live entertainment and a catwalk show to raise money for Cash for Kids charity by Metro Radio. NE1 Ltd’s Sandra Tang said they were pleased with the response and the help from Scott Henshall, Ant and Dec and there are stacks more that will be auctioned. The auction will be co-hosted by Scott Henshall and Metro Radio’s Anna Foster.

Newcastle Boho Models have offered their models services for free for the event   Fashion Front Row and for a charity fashion show benefitting the Marie Curie Cancer on Wednesday at G Casino. A Boho spokesman said they were delighted to help support the first Newcastle Fashion Week something that is great for our models, charity and the city and the hope is a great deal of money will be raised for charity.
