Rumour has it that Victoria Beckham will not lend out dresses from her fashion collection for Cheryl Cole to wear.
Cole is rumoured to be working on her upcoming season of X Factor wardrobe with some top UK stylists so that she can win the ‘frock-offs’ that she playfully has every week with Dannii Minogue. After seeing Nicole Scherzinger in a host of Beckham gowns last season Cole was said to want a few of the gowns for herself over the next few winter months.
However, the Beckham label it seems does not want to lend Cheryl the dresses because any celebrities that have been photographed in her gowns have all made a full purchase of them first.
An insider from the fashion range stated that they never loan dresses to celebrities, and although some will call to ask if they can borrow a dress they will say no. The insider also mentioned that sometimes stores such as Harvey Nichols or Selfridges will loan them out to a celebrity via their stylist, the label never does especially for anyone.
An inside source from X Factor also spoke out saying that Cole’s style team did make a few enquires about if they could get a few Beckham gowns but were told there was no way this was possible.
Cole is now said to be looking at gowns from Roberto Cavalli, Matthew Williamson, Chaneland, and Vivienne Westwood along with a few from fashion’s upcoming big names such as Hannah Marshall.
