In a statement that was quite unexpected, Calvin Klein has said that he no longer has any interest for fashion.
The fashion industry mogul and past designer said that given the fact he is no longer part of the fashion biz, he is content not to follow the trends since they are useless and quickly pass. He went on to say that as soon as people start to wear trends they are over and the next one begins making it a worthless pursuit.
While this may be true for some of the more outrageous catwalk looks, it is something that is odd given the fact that his trend of knickers with their name poking out is one he created that is still quite popular all over the world. At any rate, he did make mention that since he sold his company he cannot take credit for its success.
